Inclusive fair "Aufbruch" on the transition from school to work

The inclusive Jena school-to-work transition fair will take place on Saturday, 15.11.2025 from 10:00 to 14:00 at the Thüringer Gemeinschaftsschule Wenigenjena, Jenzigweg 29.

At the fair, young people with special needs and their parents can find out about what is on offer to help them continue their careers after school. They can get an overview of the support available from educational institutions, employers and advice services. Interested visitors can also obtain advice from the Employment Agency on the requirements for these measures.

The Employment Agency, the Eastern Thuringia State Education Authority, the Youth Employment Agency, various educational institutions, workshops for people with disabilities, the Supplementary Independent Participation Advice Service, the Jena Center for Self-Determined Living, the Commissioner for People with Disabilities and the City of Jena's procedural pilot will be presenting themselves at the fair.

Companies from Jena with an interest in and experience with employing people with disabilities will also be presenting themselves.

Admission to the fair is free of charge.

Access to the school is barrier-free - all entrance doors have no thresholds and are wide enough for wheelchair users. The exhibitors are all located on the first floor. Barrier-free toilets are available.

Parking spaces are located directly in front of the school building.

Hot and cold drinks and snacks will be available for sale (by ÜAG).
